Today, the Argentine Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniel Raimondi, and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Khalaf Khalafov, chaired the 4th bilateral Political Consultations Meeting at the Palacio San Martín.
During the Meeting, it was agreed to foster mutually beneficial economic ties so as to develop the potential of the bilateral relationship by boosting employment, productivity and economic growth in the two countries. The two delegations agreed that joint efforts should be aimed at promoting and increasing bilateral trade and investment. In that vein, priority areas were identified, including energy, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture and transport, among others.
The Deputy Foreign Ministers also noted that 8 November marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations. Argentina opened its Embassy in Baku in 2012 with a view to strengthening ties with Azerbaijan and establishing a positive and sustainable agenda.
