Today, during the Official Visit to Vietnam, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie signed the following cooperation agreements with the Asian country:
1) Plan of action on technical cooperation for capacity-building to identify the remains of Vietnamese martyrs / This is the follow-up on the successful cooperation project on the identification of Vietnamese War Martyrs' remains and is aimed at building capacities as well as providing training and technical assistance in the field. The project has been highly valued by Vietnam since it allowed the identification of more than 700 war martyrs.
2) Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal System of Media and Public Contents of the Argentine Republic and the Voice of Vietnam of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam / Cooperation in the media and public dissemination, especially focusing on contemporary music and culture through the exchange of radio and television programmes with a view to promoting knowledge and contact between both peoples.
3) The 2019-2023 Cultural Exchange Programme / Considering that cultural cooperation contributes to the strengthening of mutual understanding and friendship between both peoples, there will be activities such as "cultural weeks" in each country, exchange of artists, films, art exhibitions, photography, cultural heritage and museums, among others.
