The Argentine Foreign Ministry launched the website Argentine Days this week (www.cancilleria.gob.ar/es/iniciativas/argentine-day), a new information tool designed to help disseminate activities related to the promotion of Argentine products and companies worldwide.
Argentine Days are business events held to promote Argentine products and companies abroad, and they are organized by our Embassies and Consulates in order to foster exports.
These meetings bring together Argentine exporters as well as importers and local buyers, product representatives, influencers, consumers, press and key players of the government. The events take many forms, such as tastings, receptions, seminars, business rounds, festivals or participation in sports events. The format of the event will depend on the strategy devised for each country and their own kind of market and consumer.
The new website for Argentine Days includes a calendar with the forthcoming events and a summary of past ones. In addition, companies can fill an online form in order to gain access to some events and showcase their products.
In September, several products such as beef, wine, yerba mate, polo clothes and Argentine holiday destinations were promoted in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Kiev and Stockholm.
There are Argentine Days scheduled in Turkey, Serbia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in mid-October; and at the end of the month we will have an opportunity to showcase our products in cities such as Madrid, Rome, Hong Kong and Beijing, among others.
