As a result of the joint work among the Foreign Ministry, the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and the National Service of Agrifood Health and Quality (SENASA), South Africa informed Argentina that it recognizes the requirements in the sanitary certificate for the export of bovine hemoglobin and pork powder from our country, which represents a valuable business opportunity for Argentina.

In 2023 South Africa was the fourth destination of Argentina's exports to Africa, bilateral trade having historically been in surplus for Argentina. The opening of the South African market for new products from our country deepens Argentina's presence in this important market.
