Foreign Minister Diana Mondino met with representatives of the Committee of Relatives of Soldiers Fallen in the Malvinas and South Atlantic Islands, joined by Argentine congresswoman María Fernanda Araujo and the Board of the Committee.
They discussed the activities carried out by the Committee since it was created in September 1982, including promoting the construction of the Monument to the Fallen in the Darwin Cemetery and actively engaging in the organization of visits to the islands by relatives of the soldiers.
Among other topics, they also addressed the interest expressed by Committee representatives in another visit to the islands by the relatives, the maintenance of the Monument to the Fallen in Darwin and the continuity of the Humanitarian Project Plan (HPP) for the identification of the remains of Argentine soldiers who died in the conflict.
