Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie talked on the phone with the new President of the Venezuelan National Assembly, Juan Guaidó.
During their talk, Foreign Minister Faurie offered Argentina's collaboration and support for Venezuela to restore democratic order, full force of the rule of law and full respect for freedom and human rights.
The Argentine Minister reaffirmed that Argentina recognizes the Venezuelan National Assembly as the only legitimate legislative institution representing the Venezuelan people.
