Foreign Ministry and civil society: Academic meeting on Foreign Policy

The "Argentine Foreign Policy: Reflections from the past and the present" meeting was held today in the Libertador Room of the Palacio San Martín. It was organized by the United Nations Association of the Argentine Republic, "ANU-AR", which is part of the Citizenship and Peace Culture Commission of the Consultative Council of Civil Society (CCSC) of the Argentine Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was opened by the Undersecretary for Institutional Relations and Public Diplomacy, Tomás Kroyer, who delivered an address before 200 participants on the importance of the relationship between the Ministry and civil society in terms of the expansion of the foreign policy agenda, and on Argentina's smart integration with the world.

During the event, which had an academic approach, specialists addressed issues such as Argentine foreign policy and defence, as well as Argentina's relations with China, Russia, India, Middle East, the African Continent and Antarctica.
