The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship regrets the situation that the family of footballer Emiliano Sala has been experiencing since last Monday, when the plane on which he was travelling from Nantes (France) to Cardiff (United Kingdom) went missing over the English Channel.
Through the General Directorate for Consular Affairs, the Argentine Foreign Ministry maintains contact with the siblings of footballer Emiliano Sala, Darío and Romina Sala, who are being provided with assistance and information on the search for the plane through the Argentine Embassies in London and Paris.
The Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Embassies to the United Kingdom and France have thanked British and French officials for their search efforts and requested them to continue looking for the plane and its crew.
