Massacre in Peruvian Province of Satipo

The Argentine Government deeply regrets the news of the massacre in the Peruvian province of Satipo and conveys to the victims’ families the solidarity and support of the Argentine people. It also calls on Peruvian institutions to carry out an investigation into the tragic events and bring those responsible to justice, and it also calls on all political forces to act responsibly so that the ongoing election process may continue peacefully in a context of respect for the rule of law and human rights.
