New Argentine logistics hub in Singapore

This is the seventh Argentine distribution centre, following those in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Panama, Dubai and Antwerp. The new logistic hub makes Argentine companies more competitive by facilitating market access in Southeast Asia.

Thanks to a coordinated effort between the Argentine Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Investment and International Trade Agency (AAICI), a logistics hub is now operating in Singapore, which will increase market access of Argentine products to the most dynamic region of the world. Singapore has the best transport infrastructure and a logistical capacity that has made it the main distribution Centre for Southeast Asia.

The new hub a is tool which will make Argentine companies more competitive by enabling them to reduce delivery times of their products, offer their clients products at destination, speed up negotiations, avoid stockout and improve shipment control.

This programme offers exporters an exclusive line of credit of BICE bank, which provides funds to cover 75-100% of sales value. In addition, it offers the following benefits:

-Operating with minimum order quantity.

-Conditioning products at destination.

-Avoiding added distribution costs.

The logistics hub programme was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the AAICI and the network of embassies and consulates abroad in order to facilitate the access of Argentine exports to strategic markets.

The inauguration of the Singapore hub adds to existing hubs in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Panama, Dubai and Antwerp.
