Today at the Manuel Belgrano Auditorium the "Forum on Integration, Identity and Culture" was relaunched. This is an initiative of the Undersecretariat for Institutional Relations and Public Diplomacy through which the Foreign Ministry offers an opportunity for foreign representations and provincial governments to share their cultures with the public.
On this occasion, the Embassy of Montenegro arranged a musical performance by Montenegrin descendants, in addition to an official reception at the end. Saxophonist Yamile Burich, soprano Sol Crespo and author/musician Juan Pablo Krekun shined on the stage of the Manuel Belgrano Auditorium, delighting the audience with their performances. Before the presentations, the Undersecretary for Institutional Relations and Public Diplomacy of the Foreign Ministry, Tomás Kroyer, and the Ambassador of Montenegro, Gordan Stojovic, delivered a welcome address.
The audience included authorities from various departments of the Foreign Ministry and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Argentina, in addition to a large number of members of the Montenegrin community in Argentina.
Undersecretary Kroyer stated that "a deeper knowledge of cultural identities -which make peoples both unique and global- contributes to building bridges for comprehensive and genuine international cooperation."
