The 1st National Forum on Sports Diplomacy, the 4th Latin-American Forum on Ancestral Indigenous Games and the 10th Mercosur - Latin-America Forum on "Democratization of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation" took place on 9-10 October at the Palacio San Martín, with a view to boosting the role of sports as an instrument to strengthen ties between countries and peoples, for peace, international cooperation and regional integration.
These events were organized by the Consultative Council of Civil Society of the Argentine Foreign Ministry, coordinated by the Undersecretariat for Institutional Relations and Public Diplomacy.
This is in line with the actions promoted by the Undersecretariat in order to develop strategies aimed at promoting interaction between civil society and the Foreign Ministry.
