Mayela Aponte y Gustavo Chaile

Mayela Aponte and Gustavo Chaille are a young and passionate tango couple, combining experience and talent. Mayela has been dancing tango for 12 years, while Gustavo began in childhood and has accumulated 22 years of experience. They started dancing together in May 2025, and since then have demonstrated great chemistry and connection. In 2025, they became finalists at the Tango World Championship, achieving 9th place in the Tango de Pista category, which reflects their dedication and passion for this art. In addition, both are also dedicated to teaching. Gustavo began teaching 10 years ago, spending 6 of those years in Asia and Europe. Mayela, for her part, started teaching 5 years ago, giving classes at important venues and milongas in the city of Buenos Aires and in different cities across Europe.
