Since its opening in May 2012, Diego Obligado Galería de Arte has been a venue for the exhibition, dissemination, and promotion of contemporary art, primarily focused on the works of artists from the city of Rosario and the province of Santa Fe. The gallery’s mission is to establish a strong dialogue between artists, collectors, and cultural institutions, as well as achieving a position of reference at the national level for the production of local artists characterized by their quality and strength.
The gallery promotes the recognition and consolidation of the group of artists it represents through exhibitions in the gallery, support in the presentation of institutional-scale displays, and participation in the art fair circuit. It strives to consolidate as a site for promotion and production and, in 2016, the gallery ushered in the publishing dimension.
