Isla Flotante understands that being an artist is increasingly closer to management and the development of cooperative ties, which is why the role of the artist is no longer unique but multiple and mobile. This gallery is constituted as a self-managed space as a vindication of being an artist today. Isla Flotante began as a space managed by artists in 2012 and over the years it became a central point of the art scene in Buenos Aires for its commitment to show very young and promising artists.
