La Arte Contemporánea is a platform for the dissemination, circulation and commercialization of the artistic works of the Province of Salta and the greater northern Argentine region. It was created in order to put the local contemporary art production on the country’s map. The project, which has been operating since 2015, gathers artists with different career paths in each activity. It has recently opened a new venue in the centre of the city of Salta.
