Maki Warmi creates custom wool rugs, working alongside artisans from northern Argentina. The name Maki Warmi means "woman's hands" in Quichua, and arises from the desire to recognize the women weavers who preserve an ancient form of craftsmanship. Each piece is dyed with natural dyes, hand-spun and woven by women who pass on centuries-old knowledge. Its objective is to keep this ancestral trade alive, promoting fair trade and economic inclusion that generates social mobility, while encouraging regional economies.
