Matemurga, a community theater group from Villa Crespo, is made up of more than 90 actor neighbors of all ages. The group, which was founded in 2002, has a vast history and is well recognized. Community theater is theater by neighbors, for the community. Matemurga from Villa Crespo has carried out extensive cultural community work in that neighborhood. They regularly present their performances in community spaces and schools in the area, including the Andrés Ferreyra school, located at the corner of Luis Viale and Rojas, where they have painted, along with more than 100 neighbors, a mural that tells the history of the neighborhood, a mural that was highlighted by the Villa Crespo Neighborhood Board.
