Adriana Hidalgo editora was born in 1999, as the continuation of a family vocation inaugurated in 1914 by Pedro García, founder of the bookstore and publishing house El Ateneo de Buenos Aires. With the same determination and care, this company set out to enter the 21st century with a publishing house specializing in literature, essays, philosophy, art and illustrated books, creating a universe of new books and authors. Ten years later, it ventured into the search for new readers through the creation of the picture book imprint Pípala, with a successful and original catalog of album books that is constantly growing. It has been present in Argentina, Latin America and Spain for 25 years.
