The Argentine Foreign Ministry presented today the outer limits of the Argentine Continental Shelf adopted in March by the United Nations, in the presence of the members and authorities of the National Commission on the Outer Limit of the Continental Shelf, Navy and Coastguard authorities, scientists and legislators. “This is a historic occasion for Argentina. We have taken a major step towards demarcating the outer limit of our continental shelf—Argentina's longest border and our boundary out into humankind”, said Foreign Minister Malcorra.
