Argentine Antarctica Day event at the Palacio San Martín

Today, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie, joined by the Minister of Defence, Oscar Aguad, chaired an event to commemorate Argentine Antarctica Day at the Palacio San Martín, where he made special mention of the "work of Argentine scientists", as well as of "the efficient logistical support of the Armed Forces" in the successful conduct of the current Antarctic Campaign, in order to continue strengthening Argentina's historical presence in the southern continent. During the meeting, Ministers Faurie and Aguad contacted the scientific and military personnel working at the Argentine Stations of Orcadas, Carlini, Marambio and Esperanza by video conference.
