Foreign Minister Susana Malcorra participated in an open debate with some of the other candidates to succeed Ban Ki-moon at United Nations headquarters in New York. On Thursday, Malcorra will initiate in Tokyo her first official visit to Japan as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
