The Meeting of the Bilateral Commission, the first one held since 2014, was a propitious occasion to analyze the evolution of bilateral trade and the technical and sanitary barriers that still prevail, as well as issues related to productive integration, trade promotion, logistics, infrastructure, transport and the border situation, which are necessary to strengthen bilateral and regional integration.
Paraguay highlighted the favourable impact of the measures taken by Argentina's current administration, which has sought to promote dialogue for cooperation between both countries.
Both sides especially highlighted the importance of advancing the Connectivity Strengthening Project, the purpose of which is to establish physical connections through optical fibre cables.
