Today, the Argentine Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Carlos Sersale di Cerisano, participated in the launching event of the Buenos Aires-London route that is to be operated by Norwegian. "The fact that the airline has chosen Buenos Aires as a destination for its first South American route confirms that Argentina is the natural gateway to the continent," remarked Sersale.

The airline's CEO, Bjorn Kjos, announced that the inaugural flight will take place on 14 February 2018 and will be Norwegian's first flight to connect South America with Europe, with a 4-flights-per-week frequency.

The result of joint work by the Ministries of Transport, Tourism and Foreign Affairs, this new air link will be a new step towards Argentina's smart insertion into the world, enabling greater global connectivity that will favour tourism and multiply commercial opportunities for our country.
