The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) expressed thanks in a press release for the recent extraordinary contributions to help overcome its current financial crisis.
The Commission stressed that Argentina announced “an extraordinary contribution of 200,000 US dollars, in addition to the 83,000 dollars it already donated and to an additional 117,000 dollars previously announced, all to be disbursed this year. This makes Argentina the main donor to the IACHR among the Latin American countries in 2016, with a total of 400,000 dollars adding up the amount received and announced”.
Supporting the Inter-American Human Rights System is a constant in Argentina’s foreign policy.
