Assistance for Argentine citizens affected by hurricane Irma in Cuba

As regards the return to Argentina of the Argentine citizens affected by Hurricane Irma in Cuba, the Argentine Foreign Ministry informs that Cuban authorities have announced that the international airport is expected to gradually resume operations, starting on 12 September at 12 p.m.

The Argentine Embassy in Cuba has directly contacted several groups of Argentine citizens staying in different hotels in Havana and Varadero and provided them with assistance, while cooperating in rescheduling their flights.

Latam, Avianca and Copa Airlines will resume operating flights that will enable the Argentine citizens concerned to return to Argentina, in accordance with the rescheduling established by such airlines and the Cuban government.

 This Ministry continues to assist the Argentine citizens concerned through the Argentine Embassy and the Ministry's consular service.
