On 16-17 July, the Second Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU) will be held in Brussels, Belgium, under the slogan "Building Bridges and Strengthening our Partnership to face Global Challenges".
The meeting is within the context of open dialogue to build political consensus between both regions. The main topics to be addressed at the Meeting include the consolidation of multilateralism and the strengthening of cooperation in global fora; the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; as well as joint work to develop sustainable and inclusive economies, trade, investments and productivity.
Argentina acknowledges the importance of this consensus-building dialogue between both regions, which has led to the establishment of a common agenda of political interests, as well as of cooperation actions.
