The Argentine Republic believes that dialogue and the search for consensus must be fundamental principles in the relations among all countries in the international arena and that those principles are especially important in relations between neighbouring countries.
In this respect, Argentina expresses its concern over the unilateral initiative to build a wall between the United States and Mexico and hopes that the issue may be resolved through the dialogue and respect characteristic of the relationship between those sister nations.
