The Argentine Government congratulates the Mexican people and Government on the elections held on 1 July.
Argentina welcomes this new expression of democratic maturity by the Mexican people, who have expressed their willingness to further pursue development and progress by placing their trust in Andrés M. López Obrador's leadership.
In welcoming this victory, the Argentine Government reaffirms its readiness and willingness to continue strengthening the bilateral relationship with Mexico and to carry on joint work so as to build a stable, integrated Latin America, based on democracy and respect for human rights and committed to the shared goal of securing prosperity and welfare for our peoples.
