Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie met today with British Army officer Geoffrey Cardozo, who was responsible for recovering the bodies of Argentine soldiers in different places on the Malvinas Islands, building the emblematic Darwin Cemetery and burying each one of them there with an identification.

During the process, which he undertook with the utmost care and respect, the British Army officer drafted the "Cardozo Report", which contains all the data that he was able to collect regarding each body and its precise location at the Cemetery. His report, which is a symbol of his professionalism, was key to successfully identifying our soldiers.

Cardozo, who arrived today at the Argentine Foreign Ministry with the United Kingdom Ambassador to Argentina, Mark Kent, was invited by the Commission of Relatives to travel to the Malvinas Islands next Monday 26 March alongside the relatives of the fallen soldiers, whose remains were identified last year by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
