In the context of the 14th France-Argentina Business Forum —organized by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the France-Argentina Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the French Embassy to Argentina—, French laboratory Sanofi Pasteur announced, at the Palacio San Martín, a 300 million pesos investment for the expansion of the productive capacity of its plant, in the city of Pilar.
The announcement was made in the presence of the Argentine Minister of Finance, Alfonso Prat-Gay; the French Ambassador to Argentina, Pierre-Henri Guignard; the Undersecretary for Trade Promotion and Investment Development at the Argentine Foreign Ministry, Marcelo Lucco; and the President of the France-Argentina Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jean-Edouard De Rochebouët.
The delegation of more than 200 French companies visiting Argentina will continue to conduct activities and hold meetings with local authorities in the context of the Forum until tomorrow. Some of the participants in these meetings will be the Argentine Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Jorge Triaca; the Argentine Minister of Energy and Mining, Juan José Aranguren; the Secretary for Productive Transformation, Lucio Castro, and the Adviser to the President on Foreign Investment Matters, Horacio Reyser.
