The Argentine Foreign Ministry, through the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, invites the public to the Ibero-American Baroque Music Concert to be given by the Arakaendar Orchestra today, Monday 14 November, at 6:00 p.m., at the Auditorium of the Argentine Foreign Service Institute, located at Esmeralda 1212.
The Arakaendar Orchestra is led by Chilean violinist Raúl Orellana, who is considered a brilliant performer of Italian Baroque music by national and international critics. He currently works in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, specializing in Bolivian missionary music.
This concert, with free admission, is organized by the National Directorate of Cultural Affairs, within the framework of the 11th Early Ibero-American Baroque Music Festival, featuring first-class international groups from different parts of Latin America, with new repertoires from the archives of Jesuit missionary settlements dating back to the 17th and 18th Centuries.
