Today, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Mendoza, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie opened the 50th Ordinary Meeting of the Common Market Council, during the session of the Member States and Bolivia.
"I believe that Mercosur has been supported by all of you during the months of the Argentine Presidency. We have managed to agree on goals and important actions, which are those on which we will work today," stated Faurie.
The head of Argentina's diplomacy explained that today there will be "two sessions: the first one comprises the Member States and Bolivia, and the second one in the afternoon includes the Associate States."
The session was attended, among others, by the Minister of Treasury, Nicolás Dujovne; Senator Julio Cobos; the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Daniel Raimondi; the Secretary for International Economic Affairs and national coordinator of the Common Market Group, Horacio Reyser; the Foreign Minister of Uruguay, Rodolfo Nin Novoa, and the Foreign Minister of Paraguay, Eladio Loizaga; the Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services of Brazil, Marcos Pereira, and the Minister of Economy and Public Finance of Bolivia, Mario Guillen Suárez, with their respective delegations.
