Within the framework of President Mauricio Macri's official visit to Germany, a delegation made up of more than 70 representatives of the business sector, organized by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, travelled to Germany with the purpose of promoting business exchange and receiving new investments.
Several sectoral business fora will be held in Hamburg tomorrow and in Berlin on Wednesday, with the participation of public and private sector representatives from both countries. These fora will be followed by business meetings.
The response of the Argentine private sector to the invitation extended through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was highly satisfactory, reflecting the positive expectations created in the domestic production sector as a result of the measures adopted by the Government to promote trade and investments.
The number of registered participants and the diversity of the sectors represented in the delegation (automotive, auto parts, agricultural machinery, motorcycle, pharmaceutical, energy, technology services/ICT, organic food, wine, meat, metallurgical, heaters/water heaters, financial, logistics services and legal counselling, among others) were highly positive signs.
