An Argentine delegation comprised of Foreign Ministry officials travelled to Geneva to meet with the United Kingdom and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on 8 and 9 December, in order to discuss the next steps in the process to determine the identity of unidentified Argentine soldiers buried in Darwin cemetery, in the Malvinas Islands.

At these meetings, an agreement is expected to be reached on the terms of the mandate that both countries will give to ICRC so that it may carry out this strictly humanitarian task.
