The Argentine Republic strongly condemns the attack perpetrated on 23 January at a mosque in the Libyan city of Benghazi, which claimed over 40 lives and left dozens injured, including women and children.
The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Libya, as well as to the families of the victims, and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.
The Argentine Republic reaffirms its respect for human life and its staunch rejection of terrorism, as well as its willingness to guarantee international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
