The Trade Mission of the Agri-food Sector to the Republic of Panama has concluded. It was organized jointly by the Argentine Foreign Ministry, the Secretariat for Production of the city of Rosario, and the Argentine Investment and Foreign Trade Agency.
The Mission involved the participation of companies from the city of Rosario, such as Global Pampa (cakes and panettone), Establecimiento La Cumbre (biscuits, panettone, cookies); La Virginia (coffee, tea, spices, pasta); Inalpa (fresh packed vegetables and legumes); Ipanco (panettone, cakes, industrial dry bakery); Aceitera Martínez (sunflower and soybean oil); Argental (production of breadmaking equipment); MH Accurso (growing and classification of whole and parted peas, lentils and corn); and Lucio Di Santo (distribution of food products and beverages, yerba mate, dulce de leche and quince). These companies held more than 80 business meetings with Panamanian companies. The meetings were made possible thanks to the previous work conducted by the Argentine Embassy to Panama.
The business committee was accompanied by officials of the Argentine Foreign Ministry and authorities from the city of Rosario, who held meetings with authorities from the trade and agriculture sectors of Panama, the Colon Free Trade Zone, the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Area, and the UN World Food Programme in Panama.
