Video On May 6, the Argentine Ambassador to Nigeria, Alejandro Herrero, held a presentation on the Malvinas Question at the University of Abuja before the students and professors of the Faculty of History, International Relations and International Law. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of History and Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Philip Afaha, and the Director of the Center for International Studies, Dr. Aisha Maikudi.
During the lecture, the focus was placed on the historical background of the Malvinas Question as well as the support received at the multilateral level, in which the support provided by Nigeria in different instances was highlighted.
The presentation was very well received by students and authorities, the audience showed interest in the Question. In this sense, Dr. Aisha pointed out that it was very enriching to get to know the Argentine position, in particular the reasons why the principle of self-determination is not applicable in the Malvinas Question.
