Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Jorge Faurie, met with Kimberly Breier, the Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs of the Department of State of the United States.
During her first working visit to our country, which will last two days, Assistant Secretary Breier will meet with members of the Argentine Government.
Foreign Minister Faurie and Assistant Secretary Breier reviewed the progress made on issues of shared interest on the bilateral agenda, as a part of a cooperative, stable and diversified relationship between both countries.
In addition, they analysed the regional scenario, especially focusing on the critical situation of Venezuela and its evolution.
Foreign Minister Faurie also conveyed Argentina’s appreciation for the support provided by the U.S. Government to President Macri and to the goal of achieving sustainable growth through the economic reforms which are currently being undertaken.
He also stated that Argentina will continue working with the U.S. Government to strategically strengthen the bilateral economic and trade relationship.
