Foreign Minister Diana Mondino closed the International Meeting of Special Envoys and Coordinators Combating Antisemitism held at the Hilton Hotel in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, organized with the support of the World Jewish Congress and the Latin American Jewish Congress.
At this forum, opinions were exchanged on the evolution of Antisemitism in the countries since the Hamas attacks last October, the interaction between online extremism and offline violence was analyzed, and ways to increase government action in the fight against Antisemitism were discussed.
Prior to the forum, a meeting of government representatives took place at San Martin Palace during which the “Global Guidelines for Countering Antisemitism” were endorsed. This is a compilation of good practices that can serve as a framework for government actions in this matter.
