This document analyses the dynamics and features of MERCOSUR’s trade in goods and services from its creation until the first four months of 2024, in view of the LXIV Meeting of the Common Market Council (CMC) and Summit of Heads of State of MERCOSUR and Associated States to be held in Asunción, Paraguay, on 7 and 8 July 2024.
The document focuses on the evolution of trade in both goods and services, the particularities of intra- and extra-bloc trade, and the structure of trade, in terms of the main trading partners and products exchanged (by type and technological content) and the most important service categories for the bloc.
