In the first ten months of 2024, exports grew 16.9% compared to the same period of 2023 (reaching USD 66.2 billion), while imports fell 21.5% year-on-year (totalling USD 50.2 billion). Thus, the trade balance reached a surplus of USD 16.0 billion.

Centre for International Economy

The Centre for International Economy (CEI), under the authority of the Secretariat for International Economic Relations, was created in 1987 and is comprised of a staff of economists and professionals from related areas, with a strong specialization in international economics, international trade and trade negotiations.
