Bulgaria and Romania’s accession to the European Union: impact on Argentine exports to the European Union

December, 2006

The objective of this paper is to study the consequences of the accession of these two countries to the EU regarding Argentina’s exports to that bloc. According to the results obtained, this new enlargement does not compromise the current Argentinean sales to the EU, due to the different sectoral composition of Argentina’s exports to the EU (agri-food) and those of the new partners (industrial goods).
