Domestic subsidies in the Doha Round agricultural negotiations: restriction to support or consolidation of distortions?

The Doha Round is an opportunity to delimit the domestic aid policies that are trade and production distorting, but at the same time it poses a real threat to continuing with the current system of border protection and production incentives, which would consolidate the intervention of developed countries in producers' decisions.
