This paper estimates the impact on Argentina’s trade of an expansion of the Global System of Trade Preferences (GSTP) using various approaches: i) quantification of trade carried out under the GSTP between developing countries; ii) general equilibrium estimation of the impact of trade liberalisation; iii) analysis of trade complementarity; and iv) partial equilibrium estimate of the impact of trade liberalisation in key sectors.
