Applications for a family reunification visa may only be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national. This type of visa is available for the spouse, child or parent of an Argentine citizen.

If a foreign national travels to the Argentine Republic for tourism and stays at the home of a resident of Argentina, the host must write an invitation letter to be sent to the Argentine consular authority abroad.

The purpose of the invitation letter is only to commence the visa application procedure. It does not guarantee the granting of a visa.

Visa applications for members of non-Catholic clergy which involve temporary residence in Argentina may only be made at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national.

Visa applications for members of the Catholic Church clergy which involve temporary residence in Argentina may only be made at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national. 

This visa is for studying in the Argentine Republic for a period less than 365 days. Applications for studies can be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national.

This visa is for studying in the Argentine Republic for a period exceeding 365 days. Applications for this visa may only be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national.

Applications for expatriate visas may only be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national. 

Applications for a nationality visa may only be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national.
