Centre for International Economy
In the first six months of 2025, exports reached USD 39.7 billion (up 4.0% compared to the same period of 2024), while imports totalled USD 37.0 billion (a 34.6% year-on-year increase). Thus, a trade surplus of USD 2.8 billion was recorded.

The Centre for International Economy (CEI), under the authority of the Secretariat for International Economic Relations, was created in 1987 and is comprised of a staff of economists and professionals from related areas, with a strong specialization in international economics, international trade and trade negotiations.
